Here’s To A New Year!

There hasn’t been much time for reflection lately.  As you all know, the last two months of the year are the busiest, most frustrating, and enjoyable.  That’s why I’m thankful for the start of a new year.  I consider January my month.  I get to relax a little before things pick up at work.  I have a chance to settle down from the hustle and bustle of the past months.  This is when I get most of my writing done as well.

So looking back over the past year and what I’ve accomplished in the wonderful world of writing:

~ I’ve published two books and a short story.

~ I had the pleasure of taking part in a Christmas anthology, The 12 Authors of Christmas, which I loved!

~ I’ve met some new friends.

~ I have a new website that I’m proud to say, I designed on my own.

~ I’m learning how to design my own covers, slowly.

My personal life has been much the same, except this past year I had a son graduate from high school.  I can hardly believe that still.  It was hard but he did it, and I’m one proud mom.

What next for me?

I’m in the process of finishing up the Kind Series with book 3.  I have a scheduled release this summer on July 8th that’s part of a Series of standalone books, 31 to be exact, with one releasing every day in July; all written by different authors and each with a different flavor of ice cream.  Doesn’t that sound like fun?  You’ll be able to choose your flavor or buy them all.  The choice is yours.  I also have one more standalone book in the works for later in this year.

And… Drumroll, please…

I’m attending my first book signing on June 1st in Nashville TN.  I’m super excited about that.  I hope to see all of you there.

That’s about it for now, but I’ll be back soon with more.
